About QPHC	English (USA) Chinese (Taiwan)
QPHC is a loosely organized group of queer and trans people and their supporters. We believe that regardless of identity, class, embodiment, or any other social factor, all people deserve (and, where necessary, should demand) culturally-responsive and competent healthcare or wellness care. QPHC strives to be universal in appeal, but queer and trans in focus. This helps us to be allied with the fight for health and wellness for all, but it maintains a tangible focus on queer and trans folks so that its efforts are specific enough to be relevant and easily workable from an activist standpoint. We don't like being told to choose between our identities to get services or support, and we don't want you to have to either, so if you feel you just might belong in QPHC, you do and we welcome you. We strive to educate ourselves about matters of queer and trans health, the intricacies of our bodies, harm reduction, and what to expect in medical situations. We create and freely distribute pamphlets for people to give to their providers, so that we are not only arming ourselves with knowledge, we are furthering the aim of healthcare justice for all, since many sorts of people will end up seeing the provider who has been given our materials. Subscribing to QPHC
Subscribe to QPHC by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
