Dear list members,
I'm a founding coordinating member of WAM! Vancouver. I also write a
quarterly column for Herizons <http://herizons.ca/> (Canadian national
feminist magazine) and sometimes for rabble.ca.
I'm looking to branch out to more Canadian outlets. Does anyone have
recommendations for places that take OpEds/commentaries from freelance
contributors? And who could perhaps share contacts and tips for approaching
those editors?
I'm hoping to organize a WAMVan skills sharing event in April where we can
get together in person to trade tips and best practices for various
activities around the intersection of media and advocacy. Will send out
some more information and call-out for contributors soon.
Many thanks,
Joanna
