Zoe Blunt, main organizer of Wild Coast Caravan to Unist'ot'en camp, is a TERF (trans exclusionary radical feminist) and is publicly misgendering local trans community organizers. she has recently misgendered Tami Starlight, a 2 spirit indigenous community organizer local to Vancouver, and put forth false accusations in the attempt to delegitimize Tami's work and identity.

while she has her own personal twitter, @blunt1, she hides behind @genderiswar both on twitter and tumblr, where she openly espouses trans antagonist, cissexist and patriarchal ideologies and directs violence towards trans people, and most recently local trans people.

on May 10 she publicly perpetuated lies about Tami on twitter and tumblr, misgendering her and claiming that Tami is not indigenous.

Zoe Blunt organizes closely with Unist'ot'en[1], proclaiming to be an ally to indigenous people, while at the same time she promotes colonial and patriarchal violence towards two spirit and trans people who are indigenous and invalidates the identities of white-passing indigenous people.

this, despite the reality that many nations across turtle island historically have recognized more than 2 genders and despite the fact that THERE ARE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE WHO ARE TRANS. this, despite the reality that Metis people exist, that mixed indigenous people exist, and that some indigenous people simply look "white".

Zoe Blunt is affiliated with Deep Green Resistance (DGR)[2], an eco-fascist group who has been publicly called out and boycotted by other community organizations[3] for their trans misogynist, ableist, and overall oppressive ideologies.[4] leaders of DGR, Lierre Kieth and Derrick Jensen, have been known to espouse similar rhetoric about trans people, especially trans women. Lierre Kieth endorses the call for violence against trans women if they use women's restrooms.[3]

Zoe Blunt is a liability to our community, stirring division and directing violence towards individuals within our own community. she needs to be held accountable for the violence she perpetuates towards indigenous people, 2 spirit indigenous people, indigenous people who are trans, and trans folks in general.
