It's Media Literacy Week in North America on November 2-6 and we can all
use a little more practice. We are surrounded by media--you're looking at
some right now!--and it impacts us all, whether we notice or not. This
Check Your Head workshop will take a close look at who is influencing our
stories, whose stories are told, and how to make our own stories heard.
Come for discussion, media strategies and few good videos! This interactive
workshop will be facilitated by our volunteer and board member Megan
Ryland.

*FREE* and open to all youth, but space is limited! Refreshments and
transit tickets will be provided. Please *RSVP *to
aleks[at]checkyourhead[dot]org to reserve your spot.


The Open House events are a series of youth-led workshops that are
developed and facilitated by our volunteers and are open to all
youth-identified folks across the Lower Mainland. This project is made
possible with support from the Vancouver Foundation's Youth Philanthropy
Council.
