[WAM!Van] Transferring over to Facebook?

Hello WAM Van supporters!

As a collective newly getting accustomed to WAM and its ways of reaching
our greater network, our team of coordinators wanted to ask you about your
preferences regarding this list serv. We are considering transferring the
back-and-forth aspect of this list serv to a Facebook group (we currently
only have a FB page) as this might be a space that is better suited for
dialogue and gathering feedback, advice, comments, etc. The idea is to
still keep the list serv for those who do not use Facebook, but to use it
rather sporadically, for things like event, job, and volunteers call-outs.

Before we proceed with any of these changes though, we would like to hear
from you! Please let us know if you have any concerns or objections.

To prevent a storm of emails in everyone's inbox, we ask that you email
wamvancouver at gmail.com rather than replying to this thread. We will
summarize everyone's feedback to the list in another follow-up email, with
one last chance for changes at that point.
