[WAM!Van] VIVO Media Arts event

VIVO Media Arts Centre is raising funds to digitize the Women In Focus
video collection in
our Archive. WIF was Vancouver's feminist film and video centre, media
distributor, and visual art gallery, run by and promoting women media
producers. WIF’s aim was to provide training and tools to women to create
positive images of women and validate their life experiences. WIF
dissolved in 1992. WIF was an important producer and supporter of feminist
values in
Vancouver from the early 1970s.

This event is part exhibition, video screening, dinner, and discussion.
