Welcome to Women, Action & the Media! We're so glad to have you as a member of our community working (and playing) toward gender justice in media.

Here are some great ways to get started:

-Visit WAM!CAN (the WAM! Community Action Network) to take direct action for gender justice in media, talk strategy with others, or post an action of your own.
-Sign up for one of our local, volunteer-run chapters in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Ottawa, or Vancouver. If there's not a chapter near you yet, just reply to this email with your city, state and zip code so we can let you know when WAM! comes to town. Or inquire about starting a new chapter where you are!
-Apply for membership in our active and provocative listserv.
