[Wamvan] Consent in Schools issue- Does this Ontario initiative need to come to BC?

Hi – I’m not sure if anything is being done locally but it is definitely a good idea to get this on school curriculum.  Youth I’ve spoken with that are on the YWCA Youth Advisory Council have reported a lack of discussion on consent, especially in the public school. Maybe check with the VSB?

I'm curious as to whether the issue of consent in school sex ed curriculum is something that needs addressing in BC, or if this issue is already being championed by any organization?
