*#FierceVoices *is a three-part community series, organized by Women
Transforming Cities and rabble.ca, that aims to claim space for women in
media. It focuses on both analyzing representation in media and building
capacity for women to create their own voices and media platforms. The
events aim to especially highlight marginalized voices, voices that are
silenced in mainstream media.
#FierceVoices #2 - *Amplify! *- is happening tomorrow!

WAM! Van will be there. Please join us!
When: Thursday, April 30th, 2015 from 7:00PM to 9:00PM
Where: South Vancouver Neighbourhood House (6470 Victoria Drive)
As our first event focused on critically analyzing the representation of
women in media, our second event aims to build capacity for women and girls
working/or wanting to work with their own forms of media. It will focus on
building skills and sharing tools to engage with. Come out on Thursday,
April 30th for another night of speakers and hands-on activities, designed
to give women and girls an opportunity to actively share their public voice!
