Thanks to any and all who came out last night! For those of you missed it,
the forum on sexism and politics last night was a great evening of nuanced
analysis, productive articulate ranting, and speaking truth to the issues
that hold women back in public life.
#womenpoli even became a trending topic in Vancouver!
It was also a great chance to see what great opportunities are available in
Vancouver to translate this critical energy into action.
For those of you interested in carrying this energy forward into a
low-barrier, casual night of action-taking, *come out to Monday Media
Mutiny this Monday Oct 6th, 7-9PM at Calhoun's Cafe on West Broadway
<https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Calhoun's+Bakery+Cafe+Ltd/@49.264224,-123.172868,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xb7eca272aa1b4783?sa=X&ei=slcwVNihGaGCiwLe3YHwDg&ved=0CJgBEPwSMAo>.
We'll be putting together our tips to journalists covering the Vancouver
election this fall. *
For Janet, and for everyone else - I don't believe the event was recorded,
but a great recap of the event is this storify that Jarrah created. Check
it out:

Check out our twitter feed for some of the tweet sheets we captured

Anyone else there? What were your key takeaways?
