Hi Wam-ers:

This morning on Q, guest host Wab Kinew held an (appallingly poor) interview about Bill Cosby (separating art from the artist); his guests were two men.

So, I sent Q a little email. It went like this:

 Dear Q:

I'm rather surprised - particularly given Q's recent
history - that you opted to hold a discussion about separating art from
the artist in the case of Bill Cosby WITHOUT the participation of any
women. I actually felt disgusted listening to three men discuss this as
though there were no women available to speak about what it might mean
to them to consider Bill Cosby's art. The absence of women
in this conversation sends a rather loud message about the importance
of women's opinions on your show, and I find this deeply troubling.
Surely you must have learned something from the Jian Ghomeshi debacle
about the undervaluing of women's voices, and what this actually does to
women?

Next time you have a
similar discussion, feel free to email me. I know lots of women who
would be more than competent and very happy to participate.

Yours sincerely,
 Jill Goldberg

grrr!
