[Wamvan] Frontrunner Campaign School aims to train young women for student politics

Some fabulous local women are launching a new campaign school aimed at
training women age 18-24 to run for student politics. Please pass along the

Would you like to see yourself in student government? Want to learn how to
run a successful election campaign?
Frontrunner is a campaign school that works with women aged 18-24 who are
interested in running for student politics on college and university
campuses across Canada. This program will equip you with the skills and
encouragement necessary to run for student government.
*Learn how to:*
- Craft a message
- Develop a campaign plan
- Speak confidently in public and
- Mobilize voters
Programs and workshops at Frontrunner School will be led by seasoned
instructors with significant electoral campaign experience, and women who
have been elected to student government. Participants will leave with the
necessary skills and support to confidently enter the race for student
government and a supportive network to .The campaign school takes place
January 16-18, 2015 and will be held in Vancouver, BC.
No previous experience in student government is necessary - just an
interest in politics and a desire to challenge yourself.
