 Good news from the IRS

It may not be a sentence you hear very often, but it's true! We recently
received word from the IRS that WAM! is now an official 501(c)3 tax exempt
charity. That means we no longer need to rely on a fiscal sponsor: every
dollar you donate to us now goes directly to support our work for gender
justice in media.

We're endlessly grateful to the Peace Development Fund for serving as our
fiscal sponsor for so long, and to Proskauer for the pro bono legal help
with the arduous application process. We're still celebrating the great
