[Wamvan] Jaclyn Friedman at #sheparty today talking about WAM!'s Clear Channel Campaign

Hi everyone,

It know it's short notice for today, but WAM! founder Jaclyn Friedman is
doing a live Twitter chat about the ongoing campaign to lobby Clear Channel
to run ads for the South Wind Womne's Centre. This is on the #sheparty
hashtag from 12-1 today (from 1-2 we'll be continuing the chat, talking
about the campaign to get Twitter to simplify reporting of abusive tweets).
If you're on Twitter, you're welcome to join us!

For those of you not familiar with it, #sheparty is a live Twitter
gathering that runs from 12-2 PST each Wednesday. It was started originally
by the U.S. group the Women's Media Center but over the past few months it
stopped being held and has only recently been revived by me and Megan (aka
@OpinionessWorld at http://opinionessoftheworld.com/ and Bitch Flicks).

We usually split it into two topics for one hour each, somewhat media
related. Next week Toronto activist Steph Guthrie will be joining us to
talk about the Conservatives' proposed legislation around revenge porn
(distributing explicit pictures of someone without their consent).

Feel free to drop in on Twitter and join us! You don't have to stay for the
whole time but you might find you get hooked in to the discussion :)
