[Wamvan] Want to blog for Gender Focus?

Hi WAM-Vanners!

I hope everyone's having a great summer. I know there are some folks on the
list who are interested in trying their hand at blogging or are looking for
new places to publish their writing. My blog, gender-focus.com is always
accepting submissions and just writing a few hundred words on something you
care about can be a great chance to gain valuable blogging experience,
contribute to a useful resource for feminists, and just get stuff off your
chest. The topic can be pretty much anything you like as long as it has a
feminist/gender/social justice lens.

For example, you might want to write a review of a book you've just read or
a movie you've just seen, an analysis of a current issue, a personal
reflection on an ongoing debate, or a "My
Reality"<http://www.gender-focus.com/category/my-reality/>post telling
a story about something you've experienced.

Unfortunately, as I don't make money off the blog, I can't pay
contributors. But I'm happy to give whatever support I can through
providing editing and constructive feedback and using my platforms to
promote you and your posts.
