Hey everyone,
Just found this:
http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/07/02/women-especially-in-canada-are-more-ignorant-of-politics-and-current-affairs-than-men-says-uk-research/
It's about a study that determined that women know less than men when it
comes to political news. After reading the article, it seems to have a bias
towards knowledge of political happenings in news published/broadcast by
the mass media. Aside from the typical problematic language that comes with
asserting that "women know less" about something, I would hazard a guess
that the numbers might present differently if they were taking
non-mainstream news into account in the study.
I'm not sure what the thoughts are on this, but it might be worth
discussing.
Enjoy!
