So exciting! I will email out the list of other action ideas we brainstormed last month at the social, too.
A few people have also suggested alternating meetings with the third Wednesday of the month. Do people think that would work?

The term is commonly used for a rebellion among members of the military against their superior officer(s), but can also occasionally refer to any type of rebellion against an authority figure.

(we'd love to talk more about making them happen): petitions against sexist restaurant ads; anti VAW flashmobs; promoting local March 8th events; media literacy workshops; a collaborative, personal stories/gender/media book project; watchdog activism related to sexist coverage of the upcoming BC election; coordinated support for women filmmakers and feminist films (VIFF is doing well); a 'girlcott' (opposite of boycott) of media and organizations doing gender justice well; positive, empowering sticker campaign (like About Face); actions against local MRAs; spoofs of especially offensive and sexist magazines (eg. Fresh).
