[Wamvan] Nordstrom shirt photo removed

Unfortunately, I see many boys/men wearing sexist shirts and I could tell from their attitude that they think it's cool. And anyway, the chicks that are repelled are only bitchy feminists so who cares right? The shirts don't seem to be chick repellents at all - I often see those men hanging out with women, and the women look like they don't mind at all. 


I remember a heart-sinking family moment where my female cousin told my male cousin that his shirt was cool . His shirt was split into two images: in the first, a woman was talking and a man was standing next to her with a sad face. I n the second image the woman was still talking but the man was smiling because he was wearing earplugs. 


I'm sure the shirts sell well!

Ahh, thanks for the update and description, Jarrah. Who wears these kinds of shirts anyways? I remembered boys in my high school wore shirts with sexist slogans, but most of them clue in that they're "chick repellents" right?

I had a couple emails from people telling me the photo of the Nordstrom shirt designs was removed. It looks like they took it down, so I guess all we can hope for now is that they also heard the message from the many people that posted. 


If you didn't get to see them it was a request to choose between three men's shirt designs. 


The first said New York/LA - on the New York side was a black and white woman's face that looked more thoughtful, on the LA side was a close-up picture of women in bikinis on the beach, focused on their ass. 


The second shirt said Amsterdam and had a picture of a red lightbulb in a triangle. I didn't totally catch the bottom text but I think it said "District Never Sleeps" 


The third said Good Girls Leave You/Bad Girls Stay 


So yeah, classy. Thanks to all who got in to leave comments before they took it down.
