[Wamvan] Feminist Workshop in Douglas

Hi everyone,
As some of you might know, I am Sarah and co-President of Feminists for
Gender Equality Club in Douglas College. My friend and I are organizing
feminist workshops for the week of March 8th (International Women's Day).
We would love to invite a speaker (or speakers)  from your group. The
purpose of the workshop will be to facilitate a discussion and bring
awareness to a specific topic or issue that relates to feminism. For
example, an obvious topic is the ramifications of having sexism in
our media. However the workshop can be on a more complex topic or
issue deserving more attention. For example the attachment of homophobia
with feminism or the limited presence of feminist men. . .

The possibilities are endless. It seems like some of you are in the midst
of doing your own projects. Maybe this would be a great opportunity to
promote your project and get young people involved.
