[Wamvan] Afro-American meterologist taken off air

Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if any of you have been following this. An Afro-American
was taken off air because she responded to a viewer, who commented on her
hair. The station management have a rule about not allowing the employees
to respond to their viewers. That said, isn't it obvious that this was a
very sensitive issue. The viewer was being racist and sexist, and she
responded to his comments with a lot of grace and respect. In my mind, the
station is also being racist by taking her off air.
