[Wamvan] Awful coverage of sexual assault against men: thoughts?

Rosie Dimanno seems to have established her career as a columnist
by skating close to the line, if not over it. Her column below about
a doctor accused of sexually assaulting patients was so roundly
criticized for its opening sentence that the editor wrote a so called
explanation, also below.
The current column seems sloppy, as though it was written quickly.
It also strikes me as snide and insensitive - towards everyone
involved.
Would an email to the editor from WAM or a Tweet be worthwhile?
