"Stephen Woodworth, a Conservative MP, wants to turn abortion law on its
head by defining personhood after conception and creating laws
criminalizing abortion.

If the motion passes, it would obviously open the door to all sorts of
government interference in women's reproductive rights.

But we're in luck -- with Prime Minister Stephen Harper opposing the
action, Woodworth is afraid he won't gather enough support to pass the
motion by Wednesday's debates. Let's prove his theory correct. *No means no
when it comes to invasive reproductive legislation*, and Canadians won't be
quiet about it.

The faster we stop this, the clearer our message will be: Canadians will
not let the government take away their reproductive rights. *We have until
September 21st to be heard. Sign the petition today and tell your MP to
defeat this motion."*
