Greetings WAM!mers,

Last night the core organizing team met to continue laying the plans for
our 2nd annual community conference, Uprising, coming up soon on March
31st! In fact, many of you may have seen exactly what we were talking
about, since I sent out our agenda to the listserv! No matter, of course -
now you know what we do when we get together :)

One thing we discussed last night was childcare. Of course, we want to be
able to provide free childcare for anyone who needs it. In order to do
this, however, we need to know conference attendees' needs ahead of time.
We are therefore asking that anyone requiring childcare LET US KNOW by
emailing wamvancouver at gmail.com, or signing up and indicating this (with
children's ages and related info) at
http://wamvancouver.wordpress.com/conferenceregistration/.

Of course, no one with children will be turned away. We just need to be
adequately prepared to care for them :)

Volunteers

All of that said, WAM! is putting out the call for anyone who will be able
to volunteer their time, specifically for childcare, should we need it, and
for other miscellaneous things (set up, take down, etc.) If you are
interested in volunteering, please let us know at wamvancouver at gmail.com

Looking forward to seeing you all SATURDAY MARCH 31ST!

Cheers,

Natalie
