Hi everyone,

I posted the link to this group on our WAM! FB page, but I wanted to make
sure you all saw it as well.  It's a group of women journalists/media
makers in Vancouver who formed a group to organize and info-share.

All the things they post are totally relevant to WAM! and things WAM!
supporters would be interested in seeing (media festivals, film screenings,
grant opportunities for film makers, etc).  I'm struggling to keep up with
distributing all the stuff they've posted in the past few days to all of
our followers!

They are planning a screening of Miss Representation sometime soon, with a
panel.  Laura Kane (the woman I mentioned who might participate in our
panel on Occupy) asked if I'd be interested in participating and
representing WAM!'s somewhat critical response to the film.

So the seeds of partnership are already being planted..... it would be
great to collaborate with this group on future programs/events!
