Hey everyone!
Unfortunately I am working all day today with plans in the evening, so I am
unable to attend any of these great events! But if you're free today, you
should!
A reminder that SlutWalk Vancouver gets going at 2pm today at the Vancouver
Art Gallery. The organizers have been responding to community feedback and
criticism over the last year - it will be interesting to see how the
movement transforms this year.

Also, tonight is the launch of feminist zine *margins*! 7pm tonight at
Rhizome.

There will be Walk for Peace happening today - it's the 30th anniversary of
this event. It gets going at Kits Beach, (Arbutus and Cornwall) at Noon.
The event is a 2km over the Burrard Street Bridge to a concert stage set up
at Sunset Beach. Ends with an afternoon of festivities, music, performance
and sharing.

It's followed up by a film event tonight, hosted by Vancouver Playback
Theatre and Peace It Together. Peace: Stories and Film, Victories and
Challenges takes place at the Centre for Peace (site of the 2nd annual WAM!
Conference) at 7pm. Tickets are $15 at the door.
