[Wamvan] Listserv promo email blast?

Hey everyone,

I was just thinking about whether we should try to actively work to attract
more listserv members. I feel like there are people who would be very
interested in joining the listserv to participate in discussions about
intersections between feminism, activism and the media in Vancouver, but
just don't know about the listserv.  So the listserv might be an
underutilized way to directly promote our work and our events/conferences.

I wonder whether we could do something simple like send around emails to
our feministy/media-y contacts to invite them to join the listserv. If you
all are on board, I could draft up that email message for us.
