[Wamvan] Doc Screening - Our Lives to Fight For

A doc screening some of you might be interested in........

On Friday January 20th at 7pm the documentary "Our Lives to Fight For" will
be screened at 10th Church in Vancouver.

The film is by a group of SFU students, and calls for the abolition of
prostitution worldwide (while focusing particularly on prostitution in
Canada). It advocates for the Nordic Model as a legal approach to
prostitution.

The doc is inspired by such questions as: What makes men entitled to
purchase sex? What makes it okay to protect the power of men to buy sex?
How can we change this ideology?

The screening will be followed by a discussion led by EVE's Trisha Baptie.*
