Options for Sexual Health. Opt, Canada's largest sexual health organization
now begins the search for his successor. Please spread the word to

POSTING FOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION AT Opt

Options for Sexual Health (Opt) envisions a society that celebrates healthy
sexuality, its diversity of expression, and a positive sexual self-image for
individuals throughout life.
We pursue this vision with a province-wide network of sexual health clinics
and an array of education, information and advocacy programs. We pride
ourselves on our non- judgmental approach and our passionate support of
reproductive choice. And we are looking for a dynamic and creative leader as
our next Executive Director.

The successful candidate will have a strong performance record as:
.  a strategic and visionary thinker who can convert plans into action .  a
builder of community and organizational relationships .  an effective
communicator .  a leader and motivator of people .  a steward of resources
in a challenging non-profit environment .  a champion of excellence and
quality

Minimum qualifications include a post-secondary degree in a relevant field,
management experience in the fields of health or social sciences, and
knowledge of the non-profit sector and its relationship to government and
other sectors.

This full-time position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and reports
to the President of the Board of Directors. Following an initial
confirmatory period of six months, the position will be offered for a
three-year, renewable term based on performance.

Opt pays a competitive salary with basic benefits including five weeks of
vacation annually.
