[Wamvan] Social - my update etc

Hey Joanna  -  and WAM folks ...

jana here ... from the island ... my update is - unfortunately, my timing
did not quite make the bus to ferry today so i am not going to be able
to make it to the social later.

i had hoped to put an idea forward regarding possible 'rallying point days'
for 2013 ... rallying in the sense of Solidarity Actions for all Women ...
around March 8th - International Women's Day - i find the mainstream
media ignores it and i think it would be a great day for WAM to maybe
organize something - big or small - whatever - all kinds of things could
happen.

Anyhow, that is an idea that i would like to see talked about and wish
i could have been there today to share it with everyone ... if you like,
please put it forward to the group and maybe some good brainstorming
can happen.  And, maybe we can talk more about the idea sometime
soon, too.

thanks in advance for considering the March 8th idea ... and J i hope
we get a chance to remeet again sometime in the near future ...
