[Wamvan] Feminist book/periodical/zine swap @ Social on Saturday, December 22, 4-6 PM at Rhizome

Hey everyone,

I'm excited for the social this Saturday! Jarrah has booked us a space at
Rhizome from 4-6 pm. Info is here: http://www.rhizomecafe.ca/ Address is
317 East Broadway, Vancouver by Main Street.

I'll send out a loose, informal meeting agenda soon for the first bit of
the social so we can get the "practical" stuff covered, such as talking
about how we can support each others' work and take collective actions. If
you'd like to make sure to be a part of that conversation, please come from
4 pm.

And I was just looking through all the stuff I've accumulated, and I have a
lot of feminist books, textbooks, magazines and zines that I've read
already but are still super interesting.

I'll bring them to the social, and if you want to bring some of your own to
swap, too, that'll be fun!

Hi folks,

I heard back from quite a few people and most preferred the 4-6 time. This
was also Rhizome's preference so I've gone ahead and booked that time slot
for Saturday, December 22. Sorry to those of you whom this doesn't work for
- I know it is a busy time of year.

Rhizome was nice enough to again let us use their space for free. Their
kitchen will be open from 5 on for those wanting to buy food. In case
