[Wamvan] News/thoughts/sources on Canada abortion debate?

Hi all,

I want to write my next Herizons column on Conservatives trying to open up
the abortion debate in parliament today.

Does anyone have any thoughts, links to good coverage of this issue, and
responses from Canadians? Does anyone know activists who are fighting
against this? I'm going to contact Joyce Arthur but she's the only active
abortion rights advocate I know.

Just assuming that everyone here supports abortion access because you all
approved of this part of WAM! Vancouver's values before signing up for the
listserv:
