Subject: Projecting Change Film Festival: Miss Representation
Dear We Can BC,
Please join us this April 17-22 for Projecting Change Film Festival - a
forum for film and dialogue about social and environmental issues. Our
marquee six-day event features inspiring, eye-opening, and often
award-winning films from around the globe, each followed by a dynamic
speaker and panel discussion. The unique festival format is a platform for
audience engagement, with all proceeds donated back to local initiatives.
This year, Projecting Change is celebrating its 5th Anniversary. We thought
members of your organization would particularly be interested in seeing and
sharing the film *Miss Representation*. Miss Representation is a
documentary highlighting the sexualization and objectification of females
in the media, in particular women in positions of leadership.
We would love your help and encouragement in making this years' festival,
and in particular the screening of *Miss Representation* a huge success.
There are many simple ways you can help us get the word out: share it with
your social and business networks, post posters in the office, tweet about
the event or connect with us via Facebook. In appreciation for your support
of the festival, we would like to provide you and your group special offers
and opportunities to attend and be engaged in the festival.

speakers and more, or becoming a sponsor, please visit

See you there,
