  *Headlines' 30th Anniversary AGM

June 13, 2011 @ 7PM *

Yes, Headlines turns 30 this year and it is time to come out, celebrate, and
physically show your support at the AGM.

Celebrate? Yes, even though we are swimming in challenging financial news,
we only turn 30 once. So we'll crack a SMALL amount of bubbly and toast the
health of one of the oldest and most deeply socially engaged theatre
companies in Canada. Numbers matter. Please attend. We promise the AGM will
take around an hour of your time ;)

*Interested in Systems-based learning and leadership? *

Here's a great article (US-based but relevant globally):

*"Living Systems and Leadership: Cultivating Conditions for Institutional
Change" <http://trk.cp20.com/Tracking/t.c?KXc1-Hf2Q-byyJJ1>* by Center for
Ecoliteracy senior editor Michael K. Stone and executive director Zenobia
Barlow, is a scholarly feature in the Journal of Sustainability Education's
latest edition, on "Learning and Leading Sustainability."

The article applies Living Systems Theory to institutional and societal
change, drawing examples from the Center's work.
