[Wamvan] Four Women's Groups Need Help!

I sent this to a friend who is on the city women's committee and does a fair
amount of fundraising among her friends and acquaintances (not all poor ones
like me). She said she will post it on her page and bring it up at the
committee meeting. But her comment, which I pass on here just for
information, is "$75 is a hard sell." She says she has never had much luck
selling event tickets that are more than $20. I have been with her to some
women's organization fundraising events. They keep the ticket prices low to
get a crowd and then have a silent auction or sometimes 50-50 to raise more
money.
