Dear Friends,

I'm writing to ask you to join me for a yummy Ethopian dinner at Fassil on
tuesday night for an important cause. Rumana, a UBC student studying climate
change, and a roommate of a close friend, returned home to Bangladesh for
the summer, and while there was brutally attacked by her husband causing her
to loose sight in both eyes and part of her nose. We're hosting a
fundraising dinner tuesday evening to help her and her family cover her
immediate costs.

*What: Fundraising Dinner for Rumana*

*When: Tuesday June 28th, 6:30 pm, or 8:00 pm **there will be two seatings
to accommodate the hopefully many folks who come*

*Where: Fassil Ethiopian restaurant, 736 East Broadway (at Fraser)*

*How Much?: $25, of which $15 will be a direct donation to Rumana*

Please RSVP directly to myself and, be sure to let us know which seating you
would prefer. Bring family, friends, partners, and whoever else would enjoy
an evening of good food, good company, and an important cause. Please also
