Hi everyone,
WAM! Vancouver is WAM! international's newest chapter, and we apologize for
not having all the answers to your questions right now, as the organizers
are still in the process of determining our organizational structure. We
will be meeting tomorrow night to discuss our core values/mission, and we
will update all listserv members after the meeting.
If you are interested in becoming an organizer, please stay tuned for more
info, as we will be planning a new organizers' orientation in the fall.
In the future, if you have a question that you would like to address to the
WAM international office in Boston, please contact our *chapter liaisons
Elyse Jacobson and Tami Starlight.* Elyse and Tami will try to answer your
questions to the best of their ability, and if they do not know the answers,
they will contact the WAM office to inquire on your behalf.
*Elyse's and Tami's emails are the.xenophiles.violin at gmail.com and
tamistarlight at gmail.com. *
For those of you who are less familiar with WAM!, Jaclyn Friedman is the
founder and executive director of WAM!. She works from the WAM! head office
in Boston to support all the WAM! chapters, but if you have a WAM-related
question for Jaclyn, it would make things easier for everyone if we rely on
Elyse and Tami to act as our representatives.
I'd also like to clarify that it is *OK *to forward listserv materials such
as press releases and full articles outside the listserv without getting
explicit permission first since those materials are obviously meant for
public distribution.
However, if there is any ambiguity about whether something should be public
or not, *please make sure that you get explicit written permission before
sharing the information.
*
Let me know if you have any questions!
Sincerely,
Joanna
