Join the No One Is Illegal contingent at the Wave of Pink Rally to show our
support and solidarity with LGTBQQI youth.

We will be meeting to travel by transit or carpool to the event at
Blenz coffee shop at the corner of Broadway and Commercial @
4:15pm (sharp!). If you miss us there, join us at the rally location
below.

On June 14th the Burnaby Board of Education votes on Policy 5.45, the
anti-homophobia and heterosexism policy. Opponents of this policy are
threatening to have a thousand people out that day, and we want to beat
them!

When the School Board votes on Policy 5.45 we want to see as many people out
and dressed in pink as possible. Our goal is to make this a fun and
family-friendly event. I encourage you to put on your favourite pink outfit,
bring your friends, families, classmates, parents, children, and allies, and
come join us to sing, dance, wave signs, have fun, and show Burnaby that
LGBTQ people aren't scary!

Please invite all of your contacts, and share this event as widely as
possible. You can find out more about Policy 5.45 here.  Please take a
moment to visit the website, to read the policy and background information,
and to send your policy input to the School Board!
