Thank you for posting the link to Media Report to Women.  I subscribed for
years and years, but thought it had gone under not long after it changed
hands in the early 1990s.  It's good to see it online now.

The originator of Media Report to Women, Dr. Donna Allen, discovered what
she characterized at the Eight Characteristics of Women's Media and also a
set of characteristics of women's news.  Here's a link.  Her Women's
Institute for Freedom of the Press, based in Washington DC, is carried on by
her daughter, Martha Allen.
