http://www.sfu.ca/gsws/MedicalizationofSex.html - this is the location for
the full program schedule. It's this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (April
28, 29, and 30). It's a very interesting subject, something new in an
academic conference. It's being put on by the women gender and sexuality
studies department of SFU.
I am planning to attend and record the plenaries on Friday and Saturday.
They will be at the Segal Business School of SFU, which is at 500 Granville
Street, in Room 1200. The times are listed in the other email I sent you (a
cc to you about my request for equipment). The Thursday night event is at
Woodwards.
There are also several sets of concurrent sessions during Friday and
Saturday, at Harbour Centre, 515 W. Hastings Street. Five of them at a
time. It's all on the schedule. Many interesting subjects. I had already
committed to record at this before I heard about the UBC conference - women,
we need to get our calendars synched. Anyway, I'd be happy to trade audio
with anyone at the F-Word conference.
