Hello ViVA women!



Do you want to talk about menopause?



We are reaching out to invite you to participate in a study as part of the BC CARMA -CHIWOS Collaboration<https://hivhearme.ca/> to understand women’s perspectives on menopause and menopausal treatments such as hormone therapy (poster attached). For this study, we are conducting focus group sessions to better understand women’s attitudes toward menopause and perceptions of hormone therapy. If you choose to participate, you will take part in one focus group session that will take about 1.5 hours in duration. It will take place in-person at SFU’s downtown campus on Feb 22nd. We will also ask you to fill out a short confidential demographics survey by email. To honour your time and participation, there will be a $50 honorarium.



For this session, we are saving space to ensure that we hear from Indigenous women, African, Caribbean or Black women, and immigrant women. If you identify with any of these groups, we encourage you to reach out if you are available!



If you are interested in participating, please let me know (zoe_osborne at sfu.ca<mailto:zoe_osborne at sfu.ca>) and I can provide you information on next steps and a consent form for this study.
