The Positive Leadership Development Institute Program (PLDI) in BC

This training welcomes people *living with HIV* who have not previously
taken Core Training and is a professional leadership development
opportunity that invites participants to answer the question *“Who am I as
a leader?”*
*What participants can expect:*
• A dynamic online adaptation of our in-person Core Training for
new participants.
• A mix of instructor-driven sessions through Zoom and
self-paced sessions
offered through an online E-learning platform.
• Five live weekly two hour facilitated sessions with PLDI
Trainers
Registration is now open and the deadline for submission is *May 31, 2021
4:00pm*
Go here to apply: https://pldi.ca/apply/
Please note: All applications will be reviewed by the PLDI BC team to
ensure diversity and a mix of seasoned and emerging leaders. *This training

Monte Strong, my colleague and Hepatitis C Leadership Project Coordinator,
who also happens to be a graduate of the PLDI program and a PLDI Trainer,
is excited to announce a *new* leadership opportunity for People with Lived
Experience of Hepatitis C.
*TWO: People with Lived Experience of hepatitis C*

The Hepatitis C Leadership Pilot Program will launch this July. This is an
opportunity for enrichment for people with lived experience of hepatitis C
to come together in the spirit of skills development, peer connection and
community-building. Program participants will explore what the picture of a
leader looks like for themselves to apply to their own personal
development, self-care, or community involvement. *Join us to discover and
connect** - applications are now being accepted.*
*Click here to learn more about the program and find the application form
