Hi there, at the beginning of the pandemic I had an idea to make a mental
health support resource for women, and woman-identified and queer poz
folks. I quickly became oversaturated and didn't manage to complete it
(maybe one day!) I did however get a few counsellors/therapists on board,
and here they are, I know it's hard to find mental health help with
professionals who understand the unique issues of PLHIV. I personally know
Sarah Wilson and Geoff Plint and can vouch for them and their contributions
to the poz community. I think all counsellors are doing video/phone
sessions these days which is pretty great, and some do sliding scale. They
all have websites where you can check them out. :)
If anybody knows any free counsellors please reply with that info. Oak Tree
also has free counselling, and social workers are available to talk there
anytime, they have helped me out over the past year.
If you have any other resources that have helped you with mental health
please reply with that info!

I hope you all are holding up ok. ❤
