Researchers at Simon Fraser University, the University of British Columbia,
and University of Victoria want to learn from conversion therapy survivors
about how to best support survivors in meeting their social, mental,
emotional, and physical health-related needs. If you have direct experience
or indirect experience (for example, you know someone who attended
conversion therapy) with conversion therapy, live in Canada, and are 19

Harm Reduction Hubs from the Homes of People Who Use Drugs. The guide was
developed to be helpful for community-based service providers who would
like to develop this kind of programming, or explore other models of

Last week Lorraine Whitman, President of the Native Women’s Association of
Canada (NWAC), wrote to provincial and territorial ministers of health,
asking that they take the measures necessary to end discrimination faced by
Indigenous people who seek medical treatment. Ms. Whitman referred the
health ministers to the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation
Commission and the Calls for Justice of the National Inquiry Into Missing
and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls that relate specifically to health.

The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) is offering one-time
funding to community-based organizations (CBOs) in British Columbia to
support their response to COVID-19. This is the second and final round of
Relief Funding, the first of which was offered in June 2020. The PHSA
acknowledges that CBOs face various challenges to offering programming and
services during a pandemic. The total amount of funds available is
$150,000. The maximum that will be awarded per application is $10,000. Deadline
