Thanks everyone for your well wishes. We are all slowly on the mend.
I just hope that no one else in this beautiful community gets Covid.
We had an extensive intake with Public Health when my husband tested
positive, at that time we gave them the names of all the locations and
people that he had been in contact with but I honestly don't know if the
restaurant was contacted.
Then for the next 2 weeks we did a daily survey online, which included
taking our temperature and monitoring symptoms. Any time that there was a
change in symptoms we would get a follow up phone call from a public
health nurse.
We are in the Vancouver Island Health Authority, I don't know if the other
health authorities are doing the same.
