1. The Perfect Sexual Space?

Last month, I wrote about what a radical space in relation to sex might
look like...For some reason, following on from those thoughts, writing that
piece and thinking about a silent, empty space, I started to think about
the rooms and the spaces that I remembered having good or great sex in and
what the atmosphere that surrounded that good or great sex was like.

how do you have sex?" This, of course, is an alarming question for those of
us who have been asked. Here's a quick explanation for those of you who
haven't... There is nothing I despise more than when a person assumes that
people living with HIV fuck any differently than those who are not.

3. Allies Safety and Consent

I
thought further on what would make consent and safety sexy for women living
with HIV and I realized that pre-determining whether a potential partner is
actually an "ally" may be a place to start. In my opinion, this preliminary
step may be the most important one in order to avoid all potentially
negative outcomes that can result from disclosing one's HIV status

challenge often begins with HIV disclosure itself, and extends to the
physical demands of aging that can impede desire and sexual experiences
responses. I spoke with three HIV-positive seniors who have navigated the
sexual terrain, their experiences range from adventurous to romantic to a
happy dismissal of sex altogether.

Alright
let's be honest, dating is a mind fuck. Especially in a big city like Los
Angeles where there are literally five million other fish in the sea and so
many opportunities and ways to meet them. Dating is exciting and fun, but
then again it can be heart wrenching and psychosis-inducing. Throw HIV into
mix and let the madness ensue.
