Long-term means that the virus ‘liked you’ before the great drugs were developed. Maybe that’s 18 years, but I guess really it means infected prior to about 1996. I know that two years seems like a long time. And as one comedian said — oh never mind…

She could request to work only with women, if she chooses, otherwise it would interviewing both men and women. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, make some money and, most importantly, to get make sure that there are female long-term survivors included in this research.

Email address is pegfrank at telus.net <mailto:pegfrank at telus.net>. I know it should be HERstory. My involvement is advisory, mostly focusing on the islands, but if someone from elsewhere would like me to pass their names along to the investigators working from Vancouver, I will certainly do that. There is a small honorarium for story-tellers.

I have begun to listen to the teachings
My blood whispers to me.”
