*Dear Shelly,*

It is with gratitude for their service and appreciation for their
commitment to all folks living with HIV in Canada, that we announce the
recent resignations from the Board of Directors of Jim Kane, Christian Hui,
Janet Connors, Tracey Conway and Claudette Cardinal.

Board service is one of the toughest volunteer roles a person can take on,
and each of you demonstrated tenacity, dedication and wisdom in the seats
you held.

Choosing to resign your seats was undoubtedly a difficult decision but one
we all respect. Famous peace activist David Starr Jordan once said, “wisdom
is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.”

Thank you for your time on the CPPN/RCPS Board of Directors and we wish you
much success in your future endeavours and your continued efforts in
redefining what it means to live with HIV.
