The deadline is Thursday February 21st to apply for our 2nd PLDI – Mental
Health First Aid (MHFA) Training to be held March 15th – 17th in Richmond,
BC. This two-and a half day training focuses on the four most common mental
health disorders. Topics include substance related disorders, mood related
disorders, anxiety and trauma related disorders, and psychotic disorders.
Participants will learn about mental health and stigma, signs and symptoms,

BC's provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, said the numbers make it
clear that drug users need a safe, regulated supply of opioids. "If we're
going to turn the corner on this complex crisis, we need to find the ways
to provide safer alternatives to the unregulated and highly toxic drug
supply and to end the stigma associated with criminalization of people who

of HIV in BC before it is too late. Reflecting Back, Looking Forward: HIV
in My Day is an ongoing community-based oral history project that collects
stories of the early years (before 1996) of British Columbia’s HIV/AIDS
