Not on this mess nor do I know anything about it. Just wanted to wish everyone a fabulous New Years and all the best in 2020.

I've not had any of the side effects that some of you have described although I don't take the drug close to the time I'm thinking of having a drink. Sometimes I won't take it the day of. I wouldn't suggest doing that if you drink more often than I do for adherence reasons.
> When i started Triumeq i was taking it at night. It interupted my sleeping patterns so I took it in the morning. I remember having some of the stomach problems at the start, however that side effect subsided within a month or so.
> Like Kath said it's best to get a hold of the Oak tree Pharmacist to get more information about and share your experiences with Triumeq.

I put the vertigo down to Clonazepam (I really believe that medication should have a class action suit as it is incredibly addictive and if you miss it or try to take less it results in bad complications and effects). I put the racing heart down to Genvoya.. which has raltegravir and tenofovir amongst other items in it.

Had same thing again some time later but not so sick and heart wasn't as bad. It concerned me so never did it again up until this Christmas where I had some kind of sparkling wine and my heart pounded again. Also felt incredibly dizzy right away. Actually, all the times I had a spinning, light headedness.

The other night about a week ago I had 2 beers and one drink of tequila and I was up all night and had to call in sick in the morning! I had a racing heart and felt like I was gonna die. It might just be liquor? And I’m going to try taking them in the morning. I don’t normally drink hard stuff so maybe if I avoid that it will be ok. Hopefully!

What I do know is that it takes us about 3-4 weeks for our bodies to adjust to new meds. So hang in there but also a good idea to run it past your doc just in case... I’m on one of the drugs : Dolutegravir, and I haven’t had any problem however I don’t usually drink more than 1-2 drinks at a time- I’m a lightweight nowadays...
