Hi - Good suggestion Kath. A racing heart is something worth chatting with someone who understands women and HIV and meds. We are all individuals but sometimes there are things that are good to share. Thanks for reaching out. Keep us posted.

Happy shift into 2020 everyone. Great opportunity to make fresh plans. Love-peg

The other night about a week ago I had 2 beers and one drink of tequila and I was up all night and had to call in sick in the morning! I had a racing heart and felt like I was gonna die. It might just be liquor? And I’m going to try taking them in the morning. I don’t normally drink hard stuff so maybe if I avoid that it will be ok. Hopefully!

What I do know is that it takes us about 3-4 weeks for our bodies to adjust to new meds. So hang in there but also a good idea to run it past your doc just in case... I’m on one of the drugs : Dolutegravir, and I haven’t had any problem however I don’t usually drink more than 1-2 drinks at a time- I’m a lightweight nowadays...
